    I would like to add the T into CHIFTWAP
    t= trims set for take off.
    just as important as the T in FAWTS
    T=trims set for landing.

    Asymetric trims in take off leads to uncommanded turn. And set too fast means much greater ground speed required to achieve flying airspeed.

    Trims set too fast on landing leads to the brakes seeming to have “locked” on the round-out, due to the greatly increased force needed to bring the rear portion of the wing down. Has lead in the past to a pile-in to the ground.

      Hi Francis

      I have updated the text with your suggestion. I also photoshopped Clive’s image which took a bit of effort. If we need to change it again, then it would be best to get a copy from Clive as he has the original which can be edited.
