Has anyone heard of XC Contest? It’s a website used across the world where you can upload your flight track against your profile and get a score. The further you fly, the bigger the score, there’s different scoring for one way trips vs FAI triangle routes, with more points for a triangle. However you only get scored for the top 5 longest flights in any given year. Anyway, it’s a bit of fun and I thought it was worth sharing with the club.
Here’s a link to leaderboard of UK pilots, the top 5 pilots contribute to the total UK score. UK is currently 11th, France is leading.

Dan Jones is leading the UK pilots with some big flights this year with his longest flight of 215km (4hrs24m) on Sunday!
I have registered and added my last flew flights and I noticed Alain from our club is also taking part.
If you’re interested, it’s free to sign up and you can back date any previous flights. Make sure you register under paramotor as it’s open to paragliders too(Stephen).
